Fire

August 27, 1987
Sung to "Fire" by Bruce Springsteen

I'm loggin on my term
I read your mail real slow
You call me a hoser
All I said was hello
You say I'm sick
but that don't hide your desire
'cause when we send
ooooo
fire.

Late at night
I'm on from home
I say "hey babe,
do ya wanna go to phone?"
Our first vax kiss,
I think it melted the wire
'cause all I got
waaas
f(i}_[re/
You told me to hold right from the start
I waited all night ignoring vax tarts
I waited till midnight, and then until two
by the time it got to four
I felt like
a
fool

Countach and Dudette
Cheryl and Messiah
They have this thing
just grew over the wire
Baby got this thing
my login's burning with desire
Cause when we send...
ooooo
fire.

Fire!

Burning in my soul
hitting Y with no control
