Notes

This was my first tape of solo material. I did it in my dorm room in college as a present for my then girlfriend, Liz. It's really awful. A third of the songs are Pink Floyd covers, four are somewhat original instrumentals, and only one is a song I actually wrote lyrics for. The tape didn't even have nifty cover art to save it.

What is sort of interesting is that I had pretty much forgotten about this tape for a few years until my friend Jack told me he had come across it while he was living with Liz. For some reason, I even got it in my head that he took it as some sort of inspiration to learn to play guitar, although he denies anything of the sort. :)

The silly cover art that's pictured at the top is something I pounded together in about ten minutes in May 1997 just so I'd have something for my website. The artwork is actually something I had laying around from an attempt to make in an interesting front picture for the site. Somehow it fits better here.
